Beach Family Session at Eau Palm Beach

One of the things I love most about being a family photographer in Delray Beach is meeting families who return year after year to capture new memories by the ocean. This sweet family lives in Texas but often vacations in South Florida, and every time they visit, we plan a beach photo session together. Watching their kids grow and documenting their connection over time has been such a joy.

For this session, we photographed at the beautiful Eau Palm Beach Resort. While I’m based in Delray Beach and do many of my sessions here, sometimes we explore nearby spots, and this resort offered the perfect backdrop—soft sand, gentle waves, and the most gorgeous evening light. The mom wore a stunning soft yellow dress (my favorite color!), which looked incredible against the neutral tones of the beach. The whole family looked amazing, relaxed, and ready for fun.

Our time together was filled with playful moments, laughter, and sweet hugs—the kind of candid, natural energy I love to capture. After each session, this family always invests in heirloom pieces for their home, including a large wall print and a custom-designed lay-flat photo book. These keepsakes tell the story of their vacations in such a timeless way, and it’s so special to see how much they value preserving their memories.
